It was turned out that the band manager and this businessman didn’t even bother to inform the first party of their “hidden” agenda resulting to conflict the students where to go that night. VRS shares that there is no question of the band was invited to “jam” (in fact, they did perform), it is just a matter of professional courtesy. Mmm.. True will give you full detail next Sunday. Media representatives from stations dyRD (AM/FM) and dyTR (AM/FM) and newspapers Bohol Chronicle, Bohol Sunday Post and the Bohol Standard were present. The HNU administration was presented by Fr. Felino Javinez, SVD. There were student representatives from the Central Student Government.

It can be noted that HNU is also the first of its touch screen of acquiring grades and accounts.

The distribution of flyers and other materials started August 21. Students were able to avail their My HNU Sim last August 28. Thirty agents (part of the “force”) were hired for the campaign (mostly nursing graduates from HNU). Team leaders are Jovy “Bituin” Supot, Gaspar Albert Rulona, Osbert Magdales, Michael Ryan Yagonia, Jannice Sarabia and Mary Jane Boncales. The forces were Shaleen Ann Ricafrente, Ranjah Aziza Orig, RN, Marlon Mamaran, Noreen Barrete, Bernard Bacara, John Michael Diano, Richard Reyes, RN, Kareen Mae Trabajo, Rey Zoilo Veloso, RN, Van Earl Inting, RN, Cher Amie Navarro, RN, Ann Shassee “Marimar” Perez, Marieben Zara Sapong, Maria Elaine Atabelo, Mira Melani Balo, RN, Joanne Cemaña, RN, Mita Calunsag, Lanyza Laborte, Angelito Gaas, Alfea Gracia Anunciado, Marie Nez Canales, RN, Michelle Calunsag, RN and Marvin Bondalo.

gymnasium was winding up its “battle of the bands” presentation, raffle draws, and other surprises of the culmination of the My HNU SIM, the first-off-its-kind in the province powered by Globe.

Watching the classic HNU Diwanag Dance Troupe with their excellent performances (I like the Broadway ala jazz number, thanks to Sir Marianito Luspo), school-based bands like Timber and Cold Stare, Globe Kantabataan “finalist” Suitcase 101 and

Cebu

’s band 17th Crush, gave credence to the emergence of more talented people. They radiated charm and confidence that matched their performance levels.

Students who attended and participated in the event were lucky to receive G-Cash worth of Php 2,000 and Php 3,000, Php 5,000, Motorola phones, I-pod shuffle, Yeng Constantino cds, shirts and other freebies.

The event was hosted by the young and dashing Glenn Manigque. Thumbs up to Glenn for a job well-done.
